Barak okays settlement freeze mitigations
Defense Minister Ehud Barak ordered the halt construction order issued to West Bank settlement as part of the decision to freeze settlements, be revised to include a series of mitigations which would allow local councils to give permits for existing buildings' renovations or public infrastructure work.
