Kadima Chairwoman Tzipi Livni arrived to a convention organized by Kadima activists despite not being on the guest list. The event, held by some 50 faction activists, was aimed at finding ways to unify the party and prevent internal rifts. Ministers or Knesset members were not invited either.
"The fact that the Prime Minister (Benjamin Netanyahu) and the Foreign Minister (Ehud Barak) are constantly thinking of ways to dissolve Kadima, means that they are concerned of the governmental alternative it represents," said Livni during the convention. (Attila Slomfalvi)
