Two sentenced to death in Myanmar for document leak

A court in military-ruled Myanmar passed death sentences on two people and sentenced another to 15 years in prison for leaking confidential documents, a legal source said on Friday.

The offense concerned pictures and documents relating to overseas trips by senior officials, including one by a junta member to China and North Korea. China is among the former Burma's few diplomatic allies. According to some reports, North Korea has been helping Myanmar. (Reuters)
