Report: Lebanese army arrests senior Qaeda-affiliated official
The Lebanese military arrested a leader of the Fatah al-Islam, an organization linked to al-Qaeda. A Lebanese military spokesman said to the newspaper, An-Nahar, that "we caught a fight in a nighttime raid in Beirut."
According to the report, the detained man is a Palestinian who lives in a refugee camp and is suspected of being involved in previous terrorist attacks in the country. (Roee Nahmias)
