Car bomb in N. Ireland seriously injures policeman
A bomb exploded under a car in Northern Ireland on Friday, seriously injuring a police officer, police said, in the latest of increasingly frequent attacks in the province.
"This was an attempt to murder," senior police official Barry Gilligan said. The officer's injuries were very serious, a police speosman said. (Reuters)
