Lebanese Druze leader seeks aid from US
Lebanese Druze leader Walid Jumblatt met with US Senator John McCain and asked for his assistance in arming the Lebanese army with advanced weapons, in case Israel resumes attacks on Lebanon, Hezbollah's al-Manar television channel reported.
According to the report, Jumblatt requested that the aid include anti-aircraft and anti-tank defensive means. McCain, a senior figure in the Republican party lost the recent presidential elections to Barack Obama (Roee Nahmias)
