Saudi FM: Settlements major obstacle to peace talks

Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisel said that the settlements were a major obstacle to peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians. He made the statements during a press conference with his German counterpart Guido Westerwelle.
Westerwelle stressed that his country supported a two-state solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and that the settlement construction freeze was a condition set within the framework of the Roadmap initiative. (AFP)
