Barak to senior US officials: Hezbollah is still rearming
Defense Minister Ehud Barak said to the four US senators visiting Israel, including John McCain and Joseph Lieberman, that Hezbollah is continuing to rearm, and that the Lebanese government bears responsibility for every shot fired into Israel.
"We will not go hunting after individual terrorists," said Barak to the four, who are slated to hold a press conference Sunday afternoon in Jerusalem. Minister Barak spoke with them about the need to re-launch negotiations with the Palestinians and on the Iranian nuclear issue. (Roni Sofer)
