PM approves creation of fence on Egyptian border
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the creation of a fence on both sides of the Egyptian border in order to prevent infiltrations into Israel. According to an IDF proposal, radars will also be set up in order to trace human movement.
According to Israel Police data, between 100 and 200 people infiltrate Israel via Egypt every week, most of which are Africans who seek employment while some are criminal elements. (Roni Sofer)
