Government allocates NIS 30 million retainer for freeze compensation
The Finance Ministry has allocated an initial sum of NIS 30 million (roughly $8 million) as a retainer for compensations to be paid to Jewish residents of the West Bank following the decision to freeze settlement construction.
The Justice Ministry will publish regulations pertaining to the payment by the end of the week, according to representative of the Knesset's Finance Committee. (Zvi Lavi)
