Knesset Member Danny Danon (Likud) said Monday that MK Said Naffaa (Balad), who is suspected of contact with a foreign agent, belongs in prison and not in the Knesset, in response to Naffaa's request for immunity filed with the legislative body.
"Arab-Israeli leaders think that Israeli law and democracy will protect them even if they commit acts whose sole purpose is to annihilate the State of Israel," Danon said. Naffaa is accused of contacting a foreign agent, after he met with the deputy secretary-general of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Syria. (Amnon Meranda)
