Israel blasts Turkey's criticism of state policy
Israel's Foreign Ministry strongly criticized the accusations voiced by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan regarding Israeli policy. A statement published Monday evening said that "the Turks are the last ones able to speak about morals to Israel and the IDF, which is the most moral army in the world."
"The Foreign Ministry criticizes the unbridled words of the Turkish prime minister during the joint press conference with Lebanon's prime minister," it continued. "Israel respects Turkey and is interested in maintaining good relations between the states, but we expect a similar approach from Turkey." (Roni Sofer)
