US national security advisor to visit Mideast
The White House has announced that US national security advisor, James Jones, is scheduled to visit the Middle East next week. The tour will begin in Saudi Arabia, after which he is scheduled to visit Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
National Security Council Spokesman Mike Hammer said Jones would address regional issues at a "critical" time for the Middle East. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
