Iranian journalist gets 3 years for taking part in riots
An Iranian court has passed a sentence of three years in jail on a journalist convicted of taking part in the riots that followed the presidential elections last summer.
The period of incarceration was reduced from six years after the journalist appealed the original sentence. Since the elections, hundreds of journalists and opposition activists have been arrested and imprisoned. (Dudi Cohen)
