Ben-Eliezer: Turkish ambassador's honor should have been maintained

Labor, Industry, and Trade Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, who tried in the past to bridge the serious schisms in Turkish-Israeli relations, criticized in a conversation with Ynet Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon as well as Turkey's behavior.

Ben-Eliezer said, "The Turkish minister's honor should have been maintained. We have no interest in adding Turkish to the hostile countries. However, there needs to be fitting criticism and to criticize the statements made by the Turkish prime minister. There is no doubt there is a problem with him, but this must be done with respect."
