2 killed in Russia's Northern Caucasus
Police in southern Russia say a Muslim cleric and a former police officer have been killed in two separate incidents.
Dagestan's provincial police spokesman Mark Tolchinsky said that a deputy mosque leader in the city of Kizlyar was shot dead late Monday. Separately, Ingushetia's provincial police spokeswoman Madina Khadziyeva said that two unidentified men killed a former police officer late Monday. She said Tuesday that revenge was a possible motive in the killing. (AP)
