Outgoing Defense Ministry director: Iron Dome best farewell gift
Outgoing Director-General of the Defense Ministry Pinhas Buchris said that the Iron Dome missile defense system is "the best farewell gift I could have received upon completing my term."
During a conference in Ben-Gurion University, Buchris addressed the pressures exercised against him and the weapons development department in the Defense Ministry to choose other missile defense systems, like the Nautilus: "In some cases, the pressure was even unacceptable. The Iron Dome system is the only acceptable system." (Ilana Curiel)
