Bar Ilan University to establish medical school in north

The Council for Higher Education has ordered Bar Ilan University to establish a new medical school in Safed, in accordance with recommendations given by a committee on the matter.
The committee determined that Bar Ilan has a number of advantages over Haifa University and the Technion, both of which were also considered. (Yaheli Moran Zelikovitch)
