Jordan Valley: Soldier wounded in training accident

A soldier was lightly injured during training in an Israel Defense Forces base in the northern Jordan Rift Valley. He sustained wounds to his chest and hand as a result of an ammunition explosion.

The soldier was given initial medical treatment at the site and evacuated to a hospital via helicopter. (Hanan Greenberg)
