2009 deficit 11.5% lower than expected

The Finance Ministry has announced that the State's incomes from taxes in 2009 were higher than had been previously estimated, leaving the government with a deficit lower by 11.5% than expected.
The planned deficit for 2009 was NIS 44.4 billion (roughly 12 billion), while the actual one stands at NIS 39.3 billion ($10.66 billion). (Ynet)
