Sources: Foreign Ministry drafting official apology to Turkey

Senior political sources said that the Foreign Ministry was drafting a formal Israeli apology to Turkey following Deputy Foreign Minister Daniel Ayalon's reprimand of Turkish Ambassador Ahmet Oguz Celikkol.
The ministry is preparing the apology at the request of the Prime Minister's Office and the Office of the President. Israel will thus be complying with Turkey's demand for a public apology by high-ranking officials. (Roni Sofer)
