Foreign Ministry: Mother, son found; six more reported missing

The Foreign Ministry said it managed to make contact with Bridget Pierre Amashi and her nine-year-old son, Segev David Amashi that were suspected missing after an earth quake hit Haiti Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile, the ministry's situation room received information about six more Israelis that were reported missing, making the total number of missing people eight. Israel's ambassador to the neighboring Dominican Republic is expected to arrive in Haiti to prepare for the arrival of the Israeli delegation. (Roni Sofer)
