Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon rejected criticism aimed at him, which says he humiliated Turkish Ambassador Ahmet Oguz Celikkol, and estimated that Turkey would be more careful with its comments due to his intervention.
"It's just business as usual," his office said in a statement. "Israel has benefited from the manner in which MK Ayalon handled the crisis, and the results are that now Turkey will be much more careful with its statements." (Roni Sofer)
