Report: Attempted attack on Israeli convoy was message to regime

A source in the Jordanian security services said that Thursday's attempted attack against the Israeli diplomatic convoy was intended as a message to the regime that those behind the attack are able to infiltrate the security apparatus and attack strategic targets.
The source said to the Jordanian newspaper al-Ghad that he had not ruled out the possibility that al-Qaeda was behind the attempt. (Roee Nahmias)
