Israeli millionaire football sponsor hospitalized

The family of the millionaire sponsor of a popular Israeli football team has checked him into a psychiatric hospital because of increasingly erratic behavior. Guma Aguiar will "undergo tests for the next two weeks" at the Abarbanel Mental Health Center near Tel Aviv, his family said in a statement.
The 32-year-old Brazilian-American has become well-known in Israel since investing $4 million in the Beitar Jerusalem football team last year, and his hospitalization was widely reported in Israeli papers on Friday. (AP)
