Jordan: Attack on Israeli convoy aimed at us

The explosive device that went off Thursday near an Israeli diplomatic convoy in Jordan was a local pipe bomb, the London-based Al-Hayat reported.
Officials believe the planners of the attack wanted to make the convoy tip over into a nearby valley. Media Affairs and Communication Minister Nabil Al-Sharif told the paper that Amman sees the attack as an attempt "aimed first and foremost against Jordan". (Roee Nahmias)
