Italy's Frattini: cooperate to fight terrorism
None
Italy's foreign minister says solid cooperation between Europe and North Africa is "indispensable" to counter the al-Qaida threat.
Franco Frattini just completed a trip to six other African countries, in part in a bid to obtain freedom for six European hostages — three Spaniards, a French and two Italians — kidnapped in November and December allegedly by al-Qaida in Islamic North Africa. They may be held in northern Mali. (AP)
