Barak: Atatürk was war hero and peace hero

Defense Minister Ehud Barak landed in Ankara under tight security and laid wreath on the grave of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Turkey. Baral wrote in his dedication, "We stand here in appreciation and admiration for Kemal Atatürk, a war hero and a peace hero."
Barak is expected to meet with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and with Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul. Barak has not encountered any anti-Israel protestor so far. (Roni Sofer, Ankara)
