PM: Haiti quake a huge tragedy, humanitarian disaster

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday morning that the strong earthquake which rocked Haiti was "a huge tragedy and humanitarian disaster." Speaking at the start of the weekly cabinet meeting, Netanyahu said he hoped the island's residents would be able to recover from the disaster.
Referring to the Israeli aid delegation, the prime minister said that "this is an expression of the Jewish heritage and ethics – helping one's fellow man." (Ronen Medzini)
