MK Tibi slams journalist cooling-off period bill

Knesset Member Ahmad Tibi (United Arab List-Ta'al) says the bill forcing a cooling-off period on journalists seeking to become members of the Israeli parliament is unworthy. According to Tibi, the new bill may pose an obstacle for talented people who happen to be journalist.

"From so much cooling off, the MKs left in the Knesset will give the public the flu," said Tibi, adding that "the press has given the Knesset excellent parliament members both from the Left and the Right." (Amnon Meranda)
