Fatah leader to ask Hamas to allow him to attend mother's funeral

Palestinian security forces have been deployed in Ramallah to secure the mourning tent erected after the death of Fatah leader Mohammed Dahlan's mother in Khan Younis on Sunday.
Unofficial reports said that Fatah is considering requesting that Hamas allow Dahlan to participate in his mother's funeral. Dahlan left the Gaza Strip following the Hamas takeover in 2007. (Ali Waked)
