Opposition threatens to cancel 'deduction' procedure

The opposition is considering canceling the Knesset's "deduction" procedure, which allows MKs to be absent from votes due to different constraints without affecting their relative power in the vote results.
According to a senior opposition source, "The coalition's aggressive conduct and the fact that the rules of the game have been broken mean we cannot sit idly by. If the coalition can violate rules of decades, we will do the same." (Amnon Meranda)
