Knesset passes no-confidence votes with insufficient majority
None
The Knesset passed two no-confidence votes on Monday, after the coalition boycotted the vote. Not a single MK opposed the votes and over 30 MKs voted in favor.
However, a majority of 61 MKs is needed to topple the government – a number which is bigger than the total number of opposition members, making the vote irrelevant. (Amnon Meranda)
