Sources close to Kadima chairperson Tzipi Livni said that MK Ronnie Bar-On withdrew his candidacy for the role of chairperson of World Kadima in the "heat of the moment. By tomorrow evening he'll have the role."
Earlier Monday Bar-On withdrew his candidacy after an uproar ensued during a faction discussion between him and MK Shai Hermesh. The two exchanged heated remarks, and Hermesh said that there were better candidates that Bar-On for the role, including Hermesh himself. (Attila Somfalvi)
