Shomron council head claims Barak violating compulsory education law

Shomron Council head Gershon Mesika has approached State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss asking him to open an investigation against Defense Minister Ehud Barak. Mesika claims Barak "has been systematically violating the compulsory education law and offending the human rights of thousands of children in Judea and Samaria."
Mesika further claimed that 88 kindergartens, classes and educational establishment would not be built in the coming year in violation of the basic conditions set by the Education Ministry. (Efrat Weiss)
