Yemen Shiite rebel leader seriously wounded

The leader of Yemeni Shiite rebels fighting the central government, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, has been seriously wounded, Yemen's state news agency said on Tuesday.

The agency quoted a Yemeni senior official as saying the leader was currently in his home village, but gave no further details. (Reuters)
