OECD Secretary General Angel Gorria and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman signed an agreement between the State of Israel and the organization regarding the immunities, rights, and breaks to be granted the economic organization in Israel.
The agreement established the OECD's legal status in Israel, which is one of the conditions of membership in the organization and a significant milestone in the process of accepting Israel as a member. (Roni Sofer)
