Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch (Yisrael Beitenu) rejected claims that Israel Police violated the freedom of expression rights of protestors at east Jerusalem's Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
"Police are working to enforce the rule of law at the site and are not violating freedom of expression," he told the Knesset plenum regarding the arrest of 17 left-wing activists in the neighborhood over the weekend. (Amnon Meranda)
