Labor: Ariel to remain in Israel under any deal

The West Bank town of Ariel and the university located there are part of Israel's settlement blocs and will stay under Israeli sovereignty in any future peace deal, the Labor party says.
The statement came in response to criticism over Defense Minister Ehud Barak's decision to approve the upgrade of the Ariel college to university status. (Attila Somfalvi)
