Livni decides against holding early primaries

Kadima Chairwoman Tzipi Livni decided conclusively not to hold the faction's primary elections earlier that planned, as requested by Kadima's No. 2 Shaul Mofaz.
During a closed door meeting, Livni told faction members that "supporting an early primary election is an attempt to depose me from my post." Sources close to Livni added that the opposition leader said Mofaz can leave Kadima if he disapproves of her leadership. (Attila Somfalvi)
