Aharonovitch orders to cancel convention 'sponsored by PA'

Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch presented the United Arab List-Ta'al with a court order forbidding it from holding a political convention Friday near the village of Wadi Ara.

In a letter signed by the minister, Aharonovitch said that he was informed the convention is sponsored by the Palestinian Authority, and therefore will be canceled, in accordance with a law that forbids the activities of the Palestinian Authority in the State of Israel. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
