The co-founder of an Islam-oriented television station in western New York who is accused of beheading his wife was abused by her for years, his lawyer said Friday.
A lawyer for Muzzammil Hassan said at a court hearing that the defense plans to combine a battered-spouse defense with psychiatric claims. (AP)
