S. Korea reviews N. Korea's proposal for talks

South Korea is considering whether to accept North Korea's offer of talks next week to discuss their joint industrial park, the most prominent symbol of cooperation on the peninsula, an official said Saturday.
At the industrial park at Kaesong in the North, South Korean factories employ North Korean workers. Tensions are often high between the neighbors, which technically remain at war because the Korean conflict ended with a 1953 cease-fire that has never been replaced with a peace treaty. (AP)
