Welfare minister explores possible adoption of Haitian orphans

Welfare and Social Services Minister Isaac Herzog has instructed to explore the possibility of adopting dozens of orphans who survived the earthquake in Haiti.
Minister Herzog told Ynet, "It's a terrible crisis and I'm proud of Israel's assistance such as our field hospital delegation and rescue forces. We are greatly indebted to Haiti for supporting the UN November 29 resolution, and other than that we have a duty as human beings to help these children." (Roni Sofer)
