Netanyahu: I hope Palestinians will be interested in Mitchell's ideas

At the opening of the government's weekly meeting Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu referred to his meeting with US Special Envoy to the Middle East George Mitchell, saying he had "expressed the esteem in which I and the government of Israel hold him."
"I heard a number of ideas on how to jump-start the political process, and expressed my hope that these ideas will enable the renewal of the peace process – if the Palestinians express a similar interest in these ideas, for the sake of all those who seek reconciliation in our region," the prime minister said.
