Supreme Court Justices Asher Grunis, Edna Arbel, and Yitzhak Amit rejected the appeal of submitted against the appointment of Attorney Yehuda Weinstein to the post of attorney general.
The justices ruled that Weinstein has no conflict of interests with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and that the petitioners must pay legal expenses of NIS 10,000 (about $2,700). This comes despite the fact that Weinstein represented Netanyahu in the past. (Aviad Glickman)
