Knesset delegation lays wreath at Auschwitz barracks

A delegation of Knesset members participating in ceremonies marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day at the Auschwitz death camp laid a wreath at Barracks 27, also known as "the Jewish barracks." The MKs said kaddish, the Jewish prayer honoring the deceased, and concluded with the prayer El Male Rahamim.
Later, the president and prime minister of Poland as well as the Israeli prime minister will partake in the main memorial ceremony. (Amnon Meranda)
