Yehezkel Beinish, husband of Supreme Court President Dorit Beinish, who was hit by a shoe hurled at her Wednesday during court proceedings, said that his wife "has recovered" from the incident.
"I heard about the incident on the radio. I immediately jumped in my car and drove to the president's office. The president does not know the assailant. The event took her by complete surprise. She was wounded on her nose, but she has recuperated and, from her perspective, the incident is over. She is strong and a true hero," he said to Ynet. (Aviad Glickman)
