Rabbi Yitzhak Shapira brought for remand extension hearing
Rabbi Yitzhak Shapira, head of the Od Yosef Chai Yeshiva next to Yitzhar, is currently standing before the Jerusalem Magistrates' Court for a hearing on extending his remand. Shapira is suspected of being involved in the torching of a mosque in neighboring Palestinian village, Yasuf.
Dozens of the rabbi's students are outside the court calling cries of support for him. (Efrat Weiss)
