Minister Livnat: Holocaust denial unacceptable
Culture and Sport Minister Limor Livnat said at a ceremony marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day in Paris that "the presence of Holocaust deniers in governments and academies is unacceptable".
"Certainly the presence of a Holocaust denier at the UN, such as Ahmadinejad who threatens to destroy Israel and gets a platform at the General Assembly, is totally unacceptable," she added. "This is total ignorance of the lessons of the Holocaust. I call on the UN and heads of state to stop Ahmadinejad." (Roni Sofer)
